There are moments in the Dolomites you can't explain. You have to live them.
A Sunday morning in summer. The climb behind you, the ridge ahead. No cars. No ringing. No screens. Only wind, rock, and silence. You stand there, and for a moment, everything seems to stop.
We are two brothers from the Dolomites. We grew up here, and we still walk these mountains today. And it was in exactly those moments — up on the ridge, when the world goes quiet — that we understood what our daily lives were missing: stillness. Not as a break from life, but as part of it.
And yet, time never stops
Beneath these mountains flows a river. The Romans called it Athesis — today the Adige, the second-longest river in Italy. It rises in the Alps, runs through our valley, and reaches the sea just below Venice.
It taught us something: time never truly stands still. But it never rushes either. It flows — steady, calm, unstoppable. Like the river that has followed the same path for thousands of years without ever hurrying.
The mountain and the river tell the same truth in two ways: up there, you feel the moment. Down here, you see that it goes on.
A watch that carries both
Athesis was born from that experience. We wanted to create something that reminds you every day: of the silence of the peaks, and of the calm flow of time.
Our models carry the names of our mountains. Our brand carries the name of our river. And every watch carries a conviction: you don't need to rush. Time doesn't either.
What we stand for
